Executive Staff Writer

The main duties of the Executive Writer includes:

  •  Read and be aware of environmental news.
  • Write minimum two (200+ words) articles per month. (Wavered depending on the situation)
    • 1. Reporting on environmental news and extend on aspects the readers can learn from.  
    • 2. Educational essay on climate change/ global warming/ environmental technology terms, concepts or developments.
  • Research scientific explanations on reliable resources to further help readers understand.
    • Credit resources and contributions on the articles.
  • Outreach to other individuals and orginizations 
Time commitment: <2 hrs per week

Qualifications:
  • Passion for advocating sustainability and raising awareness for global warming.
  • Interest in writing
  • Responsible and timely
  • Completed and received an A or B for more than two of the following classes:
    • AP Bio/ Regular (or Honors) Biology, AP Chem/ Regular (or Honors) Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics1&2/ Regular (or Honors) Physics, AP Language, AP Literature
  • Age: 13-21

Executive Staff Marketer

The main duties of the Executive Marketer includes:

  •  Read and be aware of environmental news.
  • Write minimum one (200+ words) articles per month. (Wavered depending on the situation)
    • 1. Reporting on environmental news and extend on aspects the readers can learn from.  
    • 2. Educational essay on climate change/ global warming/ environmental technology terms, concepts or developments.
  • Research scientific explanations on reliable resources to further help readers understand.
    • Credit resources and contributions on the articles.
  • Outreach to other individuals and orginizations 
  • Create/design social media (2 per week) graphics to increase engagement. 
Time commitment: <3 hrs per week

Qualifications:
  • Passion for advocating sustainability and raising awareness for global warming.
  •  Preferably prior experience using softwares such as Adobe and Canva
  • Completed and received an A or B for more than two of the following classes:
    • AP Bio/ Regular (or Honors) Biology, AP Chem/ Regular (or Honors) Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics1&2/ Regular (or Honors) Physics, AP Language, AP Literature
  • Age: 13-21
