When seeing problems related to global warming Samiyah knew that something had to be done about it, and although she had temporarily joined a group of professors in their ongoing study in India at the time, she hopes to continue raising awareness of global warming/climate change in any form she can from here back home in the United States. When Samiyah came across The Good Planet platform, she saw it as an opportunity to continue to raise my voice along with other fellow students/individuals who feel the same about global warming/climate change.

Rayland is passionate about sustainable food and clean energy. He loves to plant trees and drought resistant plants at local ecology center in his free time. He joined the Good Planet because he wants to engage with sustainability. He is interested in promoting the public to a greener and zero waste lifestyle.

”We are living on this planet as if we had another one to go too.” A planet can only be good if the people, society, community works hand in hand to be environmentally friendly. It wouldn’t hurt to recycle, it wouldn’t hurt to use less plastic, and it wouldn’t hurt to pick up trash and up it in the trash can. Asheley has seen plastic bags on the streets fly over and land on the ocean. She has seen people littering bottle caps and end up suffocating sea gulls. Asheley write on The Good Planet to open the hears and eyes of people. For the next generation, as young leaders of the world must play our role on Earth and address this issue. We must rise together to keep our planet good.

Eric Yao has joined The Good Planet because he believes that it is time for people to step up and start caring for their environment instead of being ignorant to the problems humans are causing on the Earth. He strongly believes that through the education of others, there is hope in saving our planet. Eric believes that it is crucial for younger people to act and make an effort in making a difference for the betterment of all.

Makayla have an immense drive for informing others on how our current decisions impact our future. She love the subjects of Chemistry and English and hope to combine this love for learning with the opportunity to teach others. Makayla aspire to inform society of the damage we are causing our environment and the steps we can take to make the world a better place for everyone in it.

Kelly is a freshman at the University of California, Davis. She is passionate about educating and helping communities and the world become a cleaner and better place. Kelly became apart of The Good Planet because she agrees with our purpose and wants to help them achieve it. Kelly will contribute to educating and hopefully help with promoting important information about how things work around us and what we actually need to do to help the world.

Madelynne is Sophmore at Duke University. She have been implementing changes for sustainability in my own life and she wants to share tips and experiences so that the general public can do the same. It is crucial that youth are thoroughly educated about climate justice and renewable energy so that the new generation of careers can be mindful about sustainable practices.

Grace Zhang is a student from Long Island, New York. Her reason behind working with The Good Planet is to spread awareness of the different environmental crises through her interests in writing and marketing. She hopes her contribution to the non-profit will work towards making a positive impact in her community. Outside of The Good Planet, Grace is also involved in extracurriculars involving various aspects of business and writing.

Heldanna has a great passion for writing and she is pursuing her dream as The Good Planet Writer.

Luisna partook in The Good Planet in general because she feel the community and purpose of it connects with her. She wants to further pursue her passion for Medicine Encompassed is this excellent organization and gain more experience as The Good planet writer.

Outreach.

Sailing captain certified at age 14. Ryan has unfortunately seen trash floating in the water due to unsustainable fishing and humans littering. He has been teaching sailing to young students for many years now. Additionally, Ryan has a great passion for cycling, and loves to ride his bike from point A to B rather than driving a car. He has also studied the impacts of more sustainable diets on the environment (did you know to make a single burger 3,200 gal of water is used!?).

Olivia is a part of The Good Planet because it is time for our generation to step up and find sustainable solutions to our environmental crises. Our Earth has sustained us for all of our lives, and it is our duty to sustain our Earth in return. We must continue to do everything in our power to save the resources and life that this planet has to offer. This action occurs through education, and through The Good Planet, Olivia hopes to educate and inspire readers in hopes that they will understand the importance of the necessity of a symbiotic relationship between us and our planet.

Nyvn became a part of The Good Planet to exercise his abilities in communication while working for a worthy cause. He is interested in The Good Planet specifically because the organization focuses on a controversial subject that affects us all.

Savitha became a a part of The Good Planet in order to inspire and educate my generation about the value of our beloved planet. Unfortunately, the reality is that our planet is not being protected with enough care as it should be. she wanst to address some of these prominent issues, and help encourage sustainable solutions to these problems in order to treat our planet the way it should be. Savitha is willing to take however many steps she need to in order to spread this passion to others and create change once and for all.

Caroline believes that there need to be people willing to advocate for the planet and help others take action. There is still so much work to do to help the planet and to do that, you have to let people know that there’s a problem in the way that they’re using their resources and that they need to be able to adapt for the better of the planet.
